I just figured it out! Turns out the problem was that the row layout was not displaying correctly. It was

so I think each row was showing up underneath the other. I changed it to

and that seems to do what I want.

I am having some trouble displaying the contents of an ArrayList to a ListView. I finally figured out that the position variable in getView is not changing.

What ends up happening is that the first item of the list displays, then none of the others do, so it is possible that the position variable is not my only problem.

Thanks in advance!

Hello, all. This is my first post, and I am a bit new at this, as I am sure you will be able to tell soon. This code is loosely based on an example problem in Head First Java. It is a GUI with a button and a circle that should change color when the button is clicked. The code compiles and runs, but the problem is that nothing happens when I click on the button. I think it has to do with repaint(), but flipping through the API and looking online has not helped me much. Any ideas?
