Hi Team,

I need help regarding the XSD and generating POJOs from the given XSD. From a given XSD, using JAXB, we are able to generate POJOs. But, the generated POJO is not completely JPA compliant. i.e. I need to provide the value for the annotation @table by reading a column value from an excel sheet. Consider an excel sheet with some set of columns and one of the column is "DBSource" and the values for that column will be like "TABLE_NAME.columnname". I want to pass the value"TABLE_NAME" to the annotation @table and the "columnname" to the annotation @column.

I found about hyperjaxb which can be used to generate POJOs of JPA compliant from XSDs. Kindly let me know how to achieve this.

Thanks,

Hi Team,

I recently started to work on MBT - Model Based Testing. Already explored couple of tools and apis like Spec Explorer, OSMO Tester and ModelJunit. Since ModelJunit is an extended version of JUnit, I opted to explore more on this. However I am able to write some models for some standalone based components. Now, I would like to extend the same to web based application. Could you please share some sample code (if any of you have already worked on MBT using ModelJunit) for the same.

Awaiting your response at the earliest.

Hi Krishna/Mikalai,

Hope you people would be helping hands for me. I have completed my SCJP (86%) and SCWCD (74%) in 2009. Now I am planning to take up SCEA/OCEA certification. Could you please help me with my below queries:

a. What are the prerequisite for this course?
b. What are the topics to be covered for this course completion?
c. How to prepare for the same?
d. What is the procedure for taking up this certification?
e. Where can I get the materials for the same?

I would be waiting for your responses at the earliest. Please do the needful.

Dear All,

I am currently working on the CRUD operation using JPA. While deleting an entity from the database, it is consuming a bit long time to complete the transaction. I have used entityManager.remove(entity) api. Since, the entity which I need to delete is having relation with other entities, all the references needs with those entities need to be deleted and hence it is taking so much of time. So is there any performance tricks can I implement to faster this deletion process?

Please help me

Thanks,

But, here the problem is that i need to update not a single entity. Need to update hierarchy of entities.. Any idea how to achieve this?
Dear All,

Im quite new to JPA. I have a requirement where i need to create a plan and update whenever required. In the current implementation, to update a plan, that plan will be reloaded first and then set or update to the required values and persist it. So, is there any way in JPA to update the plan directly without loading it from the database?

Thanks in advance.
