Hi Shan if i understand the quest correctly, u are asking why "--" is not valid inside comments.
the answer is that this is not compatible with SGML. plz refer URL=http://www.w3.org/TR/2000/REC-xml-20001006#dt-compat]This page[/URL]

can anyone tell the differnce between doc element and doc root in the below sample xml

ProXml 2e says document root and doc element are different. each body can contain only one and only one document root. and also document root and document element are different and that element root term is a misnomer.
can any one explain (as detail as possible).
any link (other than pro XML 2e and developmentor) will help.thanks for ur time.

Not necessaryily,
the 2nd announcement makes it clear that the ppl who have taken the pratice exam starting from 18 nov and those who have not got the free voucher are more likely to get it. in ur case since u have taken the test on 27 nov, the probability is low.

can anybody answer that question. i wrote and cleared the exam at Thu Nov 21 23:23:43 EST 2002
still no voucher after 20 hours.

i also took the test at Thu Nov 21 23:23:43 EST 2002 there is no voucher in my mail box today morning.
any idea anyone who have taken the 141 test around that time and got the voucher ?

Dear Samba
did u buy the xml schema book by wrox. the book is not yet released in indian reprint. so it is quite costly. (around 2k). is there any other book that can be read instead of the wrox xml schema?
2ndly if the book is a must have(as i see in the xmlfaq) and if u still have the xml schema. i would love to buy it from u if u want to sell.
