I have been working with EJBs and JPA .

Would like to listen to your advice on the choice of exam from the following

1) EE5 VsEE6 ( some where I get to read that the exam for EE5 has contents from both EE6 exams- EJBS and JPA.If so , what would be the value addition is doing 2 separate exams, I mean topics...etc)
2) if EE6 which one to be taken first


Exams :
EE5 OCP EJBD (1Z0-860)

EE6 OCE EJBD (1Z0-895)
EE6 OCE JPAD (1Z0-898)

Seems the Mandatory training goes with step1 for the Architect( both for jee5/v5 and jee6/v6).

Can you please help me with the following?

a) For v6 -

Is it really mandatory to take up first the Mandatory training and followed by any of SCWCD/OCPJWCD , SCBCD/OCPJBCD exams or
just a training for them to get into the next step ( referring to following link)

b) For v5 -
It has step1( with mandatory training) or step2. What exactly does the step2 is referring to( from the following link) ?

Just trying to understand the path to Architect certification and the exams that need to be taken in this path.

Hello,

I am a SCJP(1.4) and have the following queries related to further certification.

a) Thinking to take up OCPJWCD(Jee6) or OCPJBCD(jee6). Can I do it? or Do I need to Upgrade to OCPJP later versions? If so, which version shall I take up( at the minimum) to qualify for the WCD and BCD certifications?

b) when looked into 'Java EE 6 Enterprise Architect Certified Master | 1Z0-807' ( oracle site), though the professional and Master tabs have different steps for the certification.But,both mention 'Java EE 5 Enterprise Architect Certified Master 1Z0-864' certification. I am afraid, missing something or do we not have jee6 certification for Architect?
