I don't think it would be correct to say this. Microservices are lightweight and are intended to make loosely coupled services. You can consider a microservice is like a small service which is capable enough to provide a particular feature wihtout having dependency on other services. If in a cluster of Microservices, one of the service goes down then (ideally) it should not prevent the other services to function.


It is something like writing a program for entire Car application, you can create microservices to different components separately and deploy them independently.
