Great to know! The book looks like a good buy then.

Best,

I do a lot of backend programming also.  This is my weakest area.  I have other books in the Murach series on different subjects.  Glad you asked Salil.

Enjoy your time on the forums!

I guess better late than never.  I had no idea what "MEAP" was.  Now I know and glad you mentioned it.  Anyone in a similar situation see https://www.manning.com/meap-program

thanks,

Marc Laffan wrote:I haven't used JavaScript since 2010, and sparingly at that. I haven't touched Angular yet at all. I'm more of a Java/Android/Rails kinda guy.

Will I get any use out of this book if I'm starting out with zero experience in typescript/angular?

Also how does the book teach dependency injection? I'm very interested in learning DI.

I'd also like to know if the book centers around building an application, kind of like how the Rails tutorial books do it.

Thanks folks!
Marc

Same boat as you Marc, except I am a Visual Studio c#/vb kind of gal. I have just taken over a project that uses typescript/angular and need to learn it. Always open to advice and suggestions.

Thanks,
