I have passed the OCAJP 8 exam recently on 1st March, 2017 and searching for internship of a Java Developer.

I need the internship for industrial exposure required of me by my University and also to hone my skills on Java technologies like Servlets, Struts, Hibernate etc.

I live in India and any internship as a Java Developer in India would do.

Please suggest where I can apply for the same.

Thanks in advance

What about your job experience in Java? Have you used Java 7 and 8 features much before you began your preparations for the exam?
And have you wrote much code during the preparation?

Yes Viktor I have been using Java 8 for quite a while. I have worked with JDBC and Servlets before.

Here is what I did for my preparation. I started preparing for it from 10th of January,2017.

I read the OCA book by Jeanne Boyarsky and Scott Selikoff.

I am trying the practising the Practise tests in the OCA book by Jeanne Boyarsky. I got a score of 78.15% in the first test. Is this enough for the OCA exam? Or should I improve more?
Thanks Viktor for the great insight. I'll look into Enthuware.
I am currently trying the practise exams in the OCA book by Jeanne Boyarsky. Actually I am practising the exams in Sybex website by Wiley.

I want to know if giving those exams is enough for the OCAJP exams. Or should I practise more exams from other sources like Enthuware or Whizlabs.
Thank you very much Praveen Kumar. My worry is gone now.
And also thank you for your resources Mala Gupta. It was great.
Thank u. I feared that it is a must-know topic for OCAJP exam.
Are string objects in string pool garbage collected?
I am a java beginner and interested in taking the OCAJP SE 8 exam. I am reading the book by Jeanne Boyarsky on OCA Java SE 8.

I want to know the no. of attempts for this exam should the ocassion arise that I fail(Please pray that I don't).
