In my work I've seen JSPs included in sequence diagrams. A sequence diagram by definition details how operations are carried out -- what messages are sent and when. I think it's ok to show them here.
Just my 2 cents.
I've been searching for the same information. Most of the links in the Notes section haven't worked for a few months. Can someone correct the links?
You could use a StringTokenizer to parse the SSNs out and call the stored procedure on each SSN (looping through them one at a time).

On the SCEA links page:
Does anyone know what happened to the Javacert website? Not a trace of Java anywhere.
Also, the notes links for John Wetherbie and Stephanie Weber are no longer valid. Does anyone have the correct links?
Thanks!

You are correct, Strings are immutable. A new String object is created with each += operation.
The differences are described in detail here, but the major differences are:
J2EE 1.2 and EJB 2.0

Thanks Barry for making me spit coffee on my shirt. Funny stuff!
I think that running the app as a Windows Service avoids the command prompt.

Stephen,
I've been using Argo UML (website) and it works quite well for a free Java-based UML tool.
Congratulations Rasika!

JNI
I did my senior project using JNI and C and I found Sun Java Tutorial on JNI to be very helpful.
