Hello everyone

any ideas about how to run packet capture on my virtual machine (VMware-android 4.3)?

tried more and more to do, facing the same run-time error :
"Unfortunately, packet capture has stopped".

my host machine internet connection is based on Mobile USB tethering by PdaNet application.

No, I want to understand the mechanism of apps that are similar to Kingoroot after rooting my phone using it.

Then, where can I get more about it?

Considering the title i want to ask these questions :

(1) Once the package name of the settings application is hidden, How can i get the explicit name of it or any system package??

(2) as a non-rooted user is there any way to kill system services or apps?

No, when i say "app is killed" i mean specifically the force stop by the user.

Let's say I have a simple service -launched by MainActivity- which is displaying a toast every x second. I know that my service will be killed if the user decided to kill MainActivity - which started it. What is to do if i want this service to keep running as long as the app is installed??!
