Hello, people in the Ranch!

I'm messing with RTF and JTextPane.

My issue now is that I am trying to change text selection's background and/or foreground color, with the following code, and it doesn't work, it seems it has to do with the cast from AttributeSet to MutableAttributeSet.

Would you help me?
Thanks in advance

Hello, developers!

I'm running into a very interesting issue!

I have come practicing with NetBeans IDE 8.2 and experienced that it is very tedious!

This time, I am simply designing a JMenuBar with JMenuItems, and I set mouseclicked events to them, and the app runs but directly when I click the JMenuItems they do nothing.

Could someone help me, please?

I will apreciate any help very much

Hello!

Would someone know why sometimes I can't open files in NetBeans editor in a Windows 64 bit system?

Thank you!

Hello people!

I'm trying to improve my java level, currently I'm practicing with swing forms

I'm working in an app that should show a subform, in which, if I type the user and password correctly, it should disappear, and the main form's WindowOpened event handler method should continue, AFTER the password form disappears, doing its job, that is in my case populatling a JTable. When running the password form, the main form should be frozen, and the code that follows below the password form's setVisible(true) call should be run only when it disappears.

What I'm getting by now is that the main form does not freeze, and the WindowOpened method does not stop on the password form setVisible(true) call.

I tried seting the password form's modalExclusionType to APPLICATION_EXCLUDE but it didn't get the expected result

Could you help me?
Thanks in advance
