Thanks Eric.
But the problem is only i'm getting such error while it works fine in other systems with similar configuration.
That's the reason, I thought i'm missing some configuration setup.
Any help regarding this?
Hi,

I'm using windows XP with IE6.
When i'm trying to access some site,
i'm getting a javascript error like

Error: 'isIE5' is undefined

I found out that generally whatever inside,

<script language="JavaScript1.2">

is not getting detected.

Here I don't code anything but just trying to access the site.(So I can't correct anything in the code)
What will be the solution?
Am I missing some browser settings?
Please help.
No i don't see any icons.
I have installed only TortoiseCVS.
Should I install any other software additionally?
Thanks for the reply.

O.. sorry.I missed out the details in my previous post.
This is for TortoiseCVS & this lines are from its User Guide.
What should be the problem?
yes.I mean 3 folders with subfolders & files in it.
Thanks for the reply.
yes I do have 3 directories(modules) in the repositry.
But I'm not getting it on checkout.
What might be the problem?
Hi,

The following is the line saying how to add new files or folders to the Repositry:

"If you have made new files or directories you will notice that they appear with the Not In CVS status icon overlay. To put new files or folders under CVS control select the item(s) that you want to add, right-click and choose CVS Add from context menu to schedule the addition. The Add Dialog is displayed so you can verify the file you are adding."

But when I right click on a folder i don't get any add option in the context menu. How can i add new files & folders? Help me.

regards,
R.Saravanan.
Hi,

I am using CVS NT as Server and My Eclipse/TortoiseCVS as client.

When i try to check out the project using TortoiseCVS,
it shows the directory structure till the checkout process. But once the process get completed the folder is just left with a hidden CVS subfolder which have files like Entries, Entries.Extra,Entries,Entries.Old,Repositry & Root.

In the same way when i'm trying to check out with Eclipse i'm just getting a blank project after the process completed.

What i'm doing wrong here?
Help me to checkout files with both the clients.

R.Saravanan.
Ya...Surly...Original Exam is easier than Final Mock.
The main reason is you will be knowing the number of correct answers.
So you can easily score 10 questions more which easily gets you 15% more.
Though for many people Final Exam + 20% holds, you can't predict it for all. Few may get 80% in final mock & the same in real exam & few like me may get much higher than what they get in mocks.
I prepared with HFS book. I red it twice & a 3rd time after taking some free mock exams from net.
I especially gone through the wrong answers which i thought right, to know why its not right. I think u got it right what i mean to say here.. Righttttt....

Regarding preparation I started seriously from the month of jan 2006.(Becos suddenly it striked me that my voucher is going to expire on Feb 28 2006).
I don't know about others but I really felt unwanted pressure having an exam date & trying to make everyday count. That too, last 4 to 5 weekends were fully covered up for the preparation. Comparativly, for my previous 2 exams i prepared fully, then I purchased the voucher & given the exam within a week, i felt more relaxed doing that way.

Coming back to preparation I covered the spec especially after seeing the review questions for EL in HFS. For ex, Which directives & actions only used by Tag Files ? Which made me to open my Spec.. Then I covered up the Tag Files & related JSTL tags like <c:forTokens> which the book accepts it doesn't cover. Even I gone through Servlet Spec for security & Deployment Descriptor chapters.

I did all free mock exams(Stil now I never purchased any commercial mocks for any of my exams). Studied some notes including Mikalai's notes (not very serious attempt but i did gone through). But beware some of the notes & exams are for older version. Try to prepare your own notes it might be as simple as just copying the Bang Box texts into your notebook but it will help you to remember that points.

I did read most of the posts in Ranch(atleast posts from last 100 days) & its very helpful.
Regarding Dynamic attributes Bryan's Short tutorial is enough (you can find that by searching the previous posts).

Finally the big Question
How much did i scored in Final Mock?
.
.
.
.
Any Guess?
.
.
.
.
.
.
90%
.
.
80%
.
.
.
70%
.
.
NOOOOOOOO...
Its just 59%
But the big problem I faced after taking final mock is there is hardly any time left to modify the exam date or improve myself in my weak areas, becos i took it just the day before exam(that too at 8:00 Pm our time).

Thankfuly, I scored 88% in real exam.
My kind advice is prepare well take the final exam atleast 3 days before.
So that u'll find some time to improve yourself in the weak areas or atleast to change the exam date.

I thank the authors & every rancher here for my success.
Thank youuuuuuuuu alllll

R.Saravanan.

Which of the following is a sensible way of sending an error page to the client in case of a business exception that extends from java.lang.Exception?

Select 2 correct options.

1)Catch the exception and use RequestDispatcher to forward the request to the error page.
2)Don't catch the exception and define the 'exception to error-page' mapping in web.xml
3)Catch the exception, wrap it into ServletException and define the 'business exception to error-page' mapping in web.xml
4)Catch the exception, wrap it into ServletException, and define the 'ServletException to error-page' mapping in web.xml
5)Don't do anything, the servlet container will automatically send a default error page.

The given answers are 1 & 3.
I can't understand why answer 4 is wrong? can anyone explain a bit on this?
Thank You very much Satou kurinosuke...
Hi,

Through the older posts i came to know that the following link has some best resource for memorizing some points:

http://sengsation.freeprohost.com/SCWCD_Memorization.html

But currenlty its not available.
Anybody know where it is moved or hosted in different place?
