This works best...
@echo off

@start javaw -jar wt.jar
@start will launch the console, then execute the jar file, and then disappear.

I already thought of that, but there is no entry for port in my admin.config file.
It looks like this:

Can someone tell me where to put the port configuration?

You have to wait for the new Edition of VAJ called Workbench. In VAJ (-->4.0) JDK-Switching is not possible.
Thomas
This port is taken on my machine. So when i start WebSphere with "adminserver" an error appears, that port 9000 is already taken.
But where do i change this?

Try to upgrade to WebSphere 3.5.4.
That should fix that bug.

Hey guys,
today i got the result from the SCWCD Examination -- and i passed it. :-))))
As i got the invitation i had little expierence in Servlets and JSP. So I bought a book about servlets/jsp and studied the Servlet and JSP Reference in detail.
Even if the score was very close to fail (got 62%) - certified is certified.
So guys look up your galton account, maybe you got the result also.
Thanks,
Thomas

Is there anybody out there, making the exam in germany/munich.
I am taking the exam, and it would be nice to find someone to work with.
yesterday i had to take the exam. since now i have never written a java program that was longer than 100 lines (before that i was host developer). I really learned hard for this test, but with all that code stuff it was really difficult for me.
but hey, who cares now about that...i passed the exam and i am happy.
and i won't forget to say thankx to very test engine and webpage that helped me to get through this test.
thankx
