Do you have any updates about SCEA part 2 & 3 results ?

Still no updates about my results.

Recently Sun in UK suggested to send an email to [email protected].

So I did the same and waiting for reply. Will keep everyone informed.

Also contacted Sun and Prometric by phone. No body ready to take the responsibility.

Sun says it's duty of promteric and prometric says we just schedule the exam and afterwards it's responsibility of sun to send certification, etc.

Anybody have any idea who is responsible to maintain below websites ?

I have appeared for SCEA old exam - part 3 on 16th Dec. 08 and uploaded part 2 assignment on 15th Dec. 08.

I have sent many emails in last few weeks to Sun - [email protected] for result outcome but I didn't receive any response.

No updates on below links.

Now even I don't able to see my SCEA part 1 exam result on i7lp link.

Almost over 7 weeks but no updates. (As per Sun, result should be available in 4-6 weeks)

Any suggestions ?

As I have just started to prepare for the exam. ( 12 day to go)

Mostly will try to cover Specs. specially Persitence API.

Anybody have done any analysis on 3 set of specs. Like which chapters should read and which are we can skip.

Finally I have cleared SCEA part1 with 93% on Sunday.(26th Nov 2006).
I have 5 yrs of J2EE exp.. as Systems analyst + developer.
Also have 2+ yrs of EJB 2.0 exp.(cleared SCBCD[EJB 2.0] 2 yrs back)

Used Epractize Lab + Whizlab mock exam.
Books used:: HF EJB2.0
HF Design patterns

And many Notes. ( Most of the Notes are almost same ...so just go throguh with 2-3 sets)


Took last 1 week as complete off from work and prepared for exam.

Almost 40-45 days before I have started to prepare for the exam.

Started with mock exam with Epractize - failed in first 3 exams. Than started to read books, Notes.

In last week, I have appeared for all mock exams and passed all. (Including Whiz lab)

30% questions were simple.
40% Average.
30% Very Difficult.

Almost 14-15 questions, I have marked for review means I can say these questions were very diffcult. I have got 15 mins. for Review. I haven't changed a single answer during my review.

I hope this information will help.

One special tip ::

Scenario questions are very difficult.
Try to eliminate the answers instead of finding right answer directly.

Please give me some hints/suggestions for migration from Weblogic 5.1 to 8.1.

I am also facing same problems when trying to convert weblogic.properties file to convert into config.xml.

1) Share reading materials and preparation time you had taken for part 1.
2) EJB 1.1 is compulsory to read or EJB 1.2 is ok ??
