I've seen the question above in a mock exam and I'm not sure if I understand correctly. As I understand booleans are wrapped into immutable Boolean objects? Am I right? Can some please clarify?
Guys,

Ajax is obviously changing the face of Web Applications, and I (don't we all?) love it. However, there are security implications with JS and Cross Site Scripting. I know there are other security implications with normal web applications, however what would your recommendations be about developing and testing secure Ajax enabled web-applications?
There are cases when interoperability between Java and .NET is a must and this must be very clearly defined, otherwise work opportunities can be lost easily.
Is web services the only way that the Java and .NET can operate? Does the book talk about other ways that interoperability can be achieved with typical scenario implementation being discussed?
Thanks

Anyone knows what advantages MSXML parser and API has, and what drawbacks compared with other APIs? Does the book cover particular APIs or is it about XML in general?
If you have't touched a debugger in years, then I will surely buy this book. Not having touched a debugger in years could be symptomps of other things, first which comes to mind is that of not programming any serious stuff in years.

How much performance increase would the usage of Prepared Statements provide? E.g. for a 200+ web-app one should consider the use of Prepared Statements or wouldn't they provide a significant performace increase?
Coding with Java, using IDE's? I think 512 RAM would not be such a bad idea...
Its dumb to say you should still use textpad / vi. For those that are still coding in TextPad "HELLLOOOOOO", there are things out there that make your life easier. I mean we buy the latest hardware when we can, so why shouldn't it be the same with the tools we use to develop?
Real programmers use Eclipse Its free, and its good!
Please remember that although SOAP is the most common used protocol that web services use, they can sue other protocols, and are not tied down to SOAP.
Sometimes I worry about performance on our web-apps, anyone can offer tools/tips/techniques for caching certain parts of better performance?

I use Eclipse, its free, and compares quite well to other IDE's. moreover, the huge amount of plugins available for download, makes sure that loads of stuff is easier to do.
Passed SCJP 85%, thanks to all at Javaranch and all who helped
