I installed JRun 3.0 Developer Edition. And tried to run a JSP file from my http://<server>:8000/MyFirstJsp.jsp
(after saving the file under
<jruninstalldirectory>/servers/default/default-app directory )
It is sagiving the message, its not abole to find the specied file.
Should I do some other settings...or does JRun3.0 version I am using, support JSP or not?
Please give any pointers.

I was using Java web server and to run servlets, and then installed apache tomcat to learn JSP. Now I cant run either one of them. Cos when I run either one of them it is giving me the error message saying the ports are use by other application.
So how do I set up the ports or change the ports so that both can work, without problem.

Hi Noah Carroll, I have set the classpaths; when I run the startup.bat file, a new window opens and closes in a flash. When I run the tomcat, it is giving error, says,
FATAL: java.net.BindException: address in use : Bind
Is this because I also have Java Web Server installed on my machine? Or its something else.

I am beginning to learn JSP and downloaded Tomcat 3.2(jakarta-tomcat-3.2.zip). Before installing, could anybody tell me what else I need (I'm using Windows 98 ) to successfully instal Tomcat.
Under the Installations instructions in the 'Professional JSP' Wrox press book, he says u have to install Apache binaries, and install mod_jserv.
I am finding difficult to understand, how to go about installing and what all to install.
Could anybody give me the appropriate links to download the files and also installation instructions links.

I did get Java certification, now can any one tell me which is the current hot area? Is it servlets, XML/XSLT, JSP....
