I used the Bates/Sierra study guide. I gave myself a leisurely 3 months or so to prepare, but I wanted to really let stuff sink in. I made a schedule and stuck to it. I completed all the chapters, reviewed them and then started doing practice tests. I didn't turn into a total Java maniac until the last couple of weeks. Some of the practice tests are harder than the real test turned out to be, but I'm glad I did them!
I'm glad to have this behind me, but I will miss those cows. They're just so darn cute. Now all I need is a job.......

I'm studying the Bates/Sierra book to prepare for the SCJP exam, which I hope to take this week. The section on collections indicates that the only information we need to know is some basic stuff on what the different classes and interfaces do, what they are each best suited for, etc. But in taking the Sun practice test I tripped over a question regarding ListIterator() vs. Iterator(). I don't know the individual collection methods that well, off the top of my head. What else do I need to be studying? The official objectives shed very little light. Should I drop back and punt?
