HI ,
We are developing email management software.
Customers will send emails to particular id and at the backend our software will redirect the mails to different agents who will answer that mail.

Redirecting will be done depending upon the body/subject of email.

Can any java rule engine be used for devloping rules for this s/w ??

I am newbie to "Rules engine" field ..

TIA

Using SAX parser is easiest way to do this.
Parser will throw events at each opning/closing tag.
U will just have to catch those events to get the element.
J2EE tutorial
Go to chapter 5. Its a nice SAX tutorial..

Roughly speaking Dan's exams are 10 % tougher than the real ones..

It's a good question, because the exam might just try to trick you about main... and remember you can also have a class that looks like this:
public class Foo {
public static void main (String args) { }
}
and it is perfectly legal.
Of course, you can't run it from the command-line -- but you can treat it as any *other* method in a class.
So you can overload main, you can have a class with a different main signature, etc. and the only problem is that you can't use those as your bootstrap main methods called by the JVM.
cheers,
Kathy

I got the veery same question on the exam..!!!
AWT is not at all required for 035. May be the question u got

Just go thru the API docs and
http://www.danchisholm.net/sept27/topic/section7/threads1.html
Reading explaination(answers) given is sufficient for the exam.
Bcoz u wont get complicated programs on daemon threads only u shud
be aware of what is a daemon thread..!!

Hi,
The questions in WhizLab's simulator r excellent though bit tougher than the real ones.
I tried only trial version. But it was indeed useful.

HI,
Most of the topics are covered in K&B book.
I would suggest to use JLS whenever needed.(but atleast once u shud go thru)
Also K&B book doesnt contain Daemon Threads(Authors plz take a note !!)
I got 2 questions on daemon threads..though the questions were easy.
Dans single topic exams are excellent. take them.
