The probs seems in the look up. I checked the names for look and they are consistent.
I was trying the example with URL:
http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/websphere/techjournal/0211_barcia/barcia.html#configtestMDB

If anyone has tried the same before and was successful in running the apps... plz let me know.

Thx in advance ...

Hi,
Did you try with j2ee.jar in the classpath??
Hi All,
I configured the web sphere MQ series with wsad.
I was trying a pub-sub example on the same.
When I run the Subscriber program I get the following error:

Thanks for the reply...
Acutally I tried other examples using the same and it worked. Its failing only when I go for Mapping. So is it that wsad does not support mapping when I go for jdbc-odbc driver for sql server??
Hi All,
I was trying an example of cmp 1.1.
I faced a problem while trying to map the bean with database.
I am using SQl Server db and using sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver.
To create the new EJB/RDB mapping I use 'Meet in Middle' option.
To locate the driver I provide rt.jar in the class locater.
The process creates the mapping but doesn't displays the col.'s of the table under the table name.
Any suggestions shall be appreciated ...
Thx in advance ..

I guess its the resuability of the code ie the bean. You can use it again and again without changing the class every time .. just adding the getter and setter solves the purpose ..
Its easy to use also.

Hi all,
I have a simple question.
I have declared two methods in two different interfaces. The return of
is same for both the methods i.e they are same.
I implement both the interfaces in a class.
And I also use the methods in the class.
Now
Will it compile .... ->
If it does then how will the class know which interface has to be looked for the method.
Any clues shall be put at the top of Appreciation ....
Bye !!!

hi,
where did you place your jsp file?
Normally it's placed under the web module and there's no clashing with the default packages (under the modules folder where we create the two jar and one war file) until we disturb those files.
Hope to receive a feed back from you....

hi
RKirshna...
There are three main perpesctive in WSAD .. a server, j2ee and java.
In what per. do u want to create the client Application.
Normally in the all the perc. the folder structure is different.
If you want to make your own (new) client application go to the j2ee perctive.
right click and you find the Application Client Project .. click that n go ahead with the options you need.
Servlets and Jsp's are all placed under Web Modules that you can see in the same directory.
I too started working recently on the tool.
Hope it helps you ....
