How to configure tomcat for production use.

Hi,
I am working on a website which includes some pages that needs the data to be transmitted between the client and the server to be secure. i.e. the transaction should be through SSL. I know bits and pieces about SSL but i am not able to locate any source of information or examples etc. as to how can i implement SSL in my application.
Also I want to know how the things behind the scene works. Does the data collected from html form will be encrypted in SSL and how does webserver decrypt and uses the data? I have all basic questions. Please do answer.

I am looking for job from past 2 yrs. But I am not getting anywhere. I graduated in 2000 and worked for almost one year as web programmer. As I don't have much experience, I am not getting any job. What to do. The job market is so bad, even getting job in other field is also tough. Now I am thinking of doing my MS. Will it be of any help to find job. Any body has any advice. Hope the economy improves.

I have some doubt regarding security. Some people says that we need to obtain a digital certificate to start e-business. With my understanding with Digital certificate it mainly encrypts and decrypts the information. Is it not possible to code our self and create digital certificate using JAVA API. If it is then how to proceed from there on. Once digital certificate is create how to enable to web server.

Hi,
Can we use Struts framework for Swing. Can anybody explain it how it will be useful. I feel struts can be used only with web applications. if i am wrong please correct it.
