As a Java Database specialist you will be the main source of deep database expertise on the team, ideally from both a programming and logical/physical perspective. SKILLS:

Skills & Qualifications:
�4-6 Years experience developing web application development using java based OO technologies;
�Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles, design patterns and UML;
�Experience with the development of enterprise web-based transactional applications experience with development of the front end, middle and back tiers with an emphasis on middle and back end;
�Experience with Servlets & Java Server Pages (JSP) using the Apache Struts Framework;
�Strong working knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, DHTML and CSS;
�RDBMS experience with both Oracle and MSSQL preferred, PostgreSQL an asset;
�Well versed in SQL, the use of JDBC and the Hibernate object/relational persistence and query service;
�Working knowledge of the following development tools and environments: Ant, CVS, Eclipse IDE, Apache Tomcat and the Apache HTTP Server;
�Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks and work effectively with minimal supervision in a team environment.
�Strong analytical and problem solving skills;

Our client is a leading provider of custom systems solutions specializing in J2EE /.Net multi-tier enterprise architecture and development. They are putting together a Project Team consisting of highly technical hands-on individuals.
