It may be problem with thread issues.I think you are using local variable for user name and instance variable for the user authorizations (right to change).Instance variables are not thread safe.Use local variable instead.

Hi
Web container only for request/response and gets all static pages
Servlet Container can do dynamic things and send dynamic reposes..

For clear clarification refer 'Head First Servlets and JSP' by Kathy Sierra.

Tell me the way in STRUTS1.1 for sorting data in a html table based on the combination of columns.

I had used display.jar2.0 to display the data in front end. Our requirement is that the data to be displayed in table needs to be sorted based on the combination of multiple columns. Such as Name desc, age desc, gender desc.

In SQL it can be done by using ORDER BY NAME DESC, AGE DESC, GENDER DESC
We don't want to do this sorting in SQL, as query becomes very complicated and performance goes for a toss.

Ssuggest me the sorting algorithm or any other techniques by which i can achieve this in Display-jar it self. I am are ready to customize the display-jar.

Hello,

The Java 1.5 API specifies that:
Arrays.deepEquals (Object[],Object[])
Returns true if the two specified arrays are deeply equal to one another

What is meant by 'deeply' equal to.What the other ways of equals?

What is the difference between
Arrays.toString(Object) and Arrays.deepToString(Object[]) ?

Hello,

All the classes defaultly extends 'Object' class and inheritis all it's public and protected methods. Why is it needed that the finalize() and clone() methods were protected.(Is public not enough?).

By making protected, which are the classes(who are not extending Object and not getting finalize() method) to whome this method must not be available?.
