I had to take the exam one week ahead of my schedule , and I am glad I passed.
Thanks to all for your support .

I read HFSJ mainly ,jignesh Malavya , study notes of Vel murughan , specification , jstl spec.

Got lots of questions on EL and custom tags. Also one question on ejb-local-ref tag .

Good luck to all people who are taking exam..

Thanks

In Weblogic I need to set
<context-param>
<param-name>weblogic.httpd.servlet.reloadCheckSecs</param-name>
<param-value>0</param-value>
</context-param> in web.xml and
<jsp-param>
<param-name>pageCheckSeconds</param-name>
<param-value>0</param-value>
</jsp-param> in weblogic.xml

I am not sure about Tomcat...
In Weblogic I need to set
<context-param>
<param-name>weblogic.httpd.servlet.reloadCheckSecs</param-name>
<param-value>-1</param-value>
</context-param> in web.xml and
<jsp-param>
<param-name>pageCheckSeconds</param-name>
<param-value>-1</param-value>
</jsp-param> in weblogic.xml

I am extending SimpleTagSupport class to create a simple tag handler . I am getting run time exception
*********************************************
An error occurred at line: 16 in the jsp file: /myTag/Test1.jsp
Generated servlet error:
MyTagSupport cannot be resolved or is not a type

I tried adding jsp-api jar in web-inf/lib for a try .. no hope
Anybody faced this problem ??

Thanks

Welcome to the forum Sanghera,

Timing couldnot have been better.
I was looking forward to taking this exam soon.
Now i guess i have a great book .
But I just want your opinion on weather I should wait for a new exam with ejb 3.0 objectives or take the current exam ? Basically i have a timeframe of two months .

Thanks

Hi

I have an IFrame inside a modal dialog , both using same formbean but different actions.When I submit the frame , only the data from outer window is populated while that in the innerFrame is shown as null.

Does both actions need use different bean instance names ??

Thanks
