hi all,
I have to roll over log files daily. so,i am using DailyRollingFileAppender to create log files. Now, i need a back up just for 7 days. On the 8th day, the first file should be deleted.
I have tried using RollingFileAppender, it is working sucessfully. but it is based on the maxium file size.
how can i do using DailyRollingFileAppender?
any suggestions will be helpful

Is there anyway i can define application specific logging instead of touching the global conf/log4j.xml in jboss?
