Alas!! passed SCBCD yesterday. Thanks to Kathy Sierra and Bert Bates for the great book.

The exam was easy once I crossed the intial jitter in which I messed up a couple of drag and drop type ejb-ql questions even after spending more then 20 mts in the begining on those 3 questions.

The problem was Sun's software for drag and drop question was crappy, you have no way of partially answering the question and return to it for correction, because if you do your previous answer to the question was wiped out. This happens only for this special window questions, the regular multiple choice and single choice are saved and you can return to them by marking them.

So, I will suggest using a simulator software for practicising this question type.Other then that Head First Book is more then suffiecient to get a great score on the exam.

Hi,
I am new to Websphere environment just installed 4.0 on my personal machine.I want to develop J2EE applications in this environment to gain experience. Can someone suggest me which book should be good to begin deploying my application in websphere. And also I am eventually planning to get IBM certified.
Please suggest.
Thanks

Thanks. Alan for the suggestion. i already started preparing for SCWCD but I have decided to get 080 instead of 081 the new one, as that suits my experience better and I guess it is less work in comparison to SCJP 1.4
Scott, I am a Computer Engineering and I am getting these certifications because I am planning to change my job.

Thanks,Joseph. Ya, i guess SCWCD will be quicker to get and to be really competitive in this tough market I must get both.

Hi, Can someone suggest me which certification is better to pass SCWCD or SCBCD from job point of view.
I have about six seven months of experience in JSP and Servlets so surely SCWCD will be easy for me then SCBCD as I have no experience with EJB's.But when I look on job boards like dice there are several more requirements for EJB then for JSP or servlets.
Just have to make up my mind in one or two days and will start preparing so any advice will be helpful.
Thanks
