I had a field day yesterday taking advantage of New York WebSphere User Group free certification testing opportunity - passed 252, 142, and 665 tests - three in a row. I did not get very great percentage, but I passed and that's what counts!

With 252, concentrate on security and admin/deployment/ASTK.
With 142, make sure you know DTD and XML Schema as well as XSLT well.
665 - fairly easy to pass, as long as you are familiar with IBM's product offering and SOA guiding principals - you'd pass. Reading WebSphere SOA redbook is also helpful.
I passed a couple of Sun's exams during last two months. Just on Friday passed SCJP 5.0 with 81%. It was fairly tough, lots of tricky questions, especially on threading. One must have really programmed in the language for a while to remember all the tricks in order to pass this test well.

SCEA Part I was not as complicated though (passed it with 89%), studying design patterns and good familiarity with UML should be enough to pass this test. Well, now I have to start working on assignment, that should take a while, probably.

Whizlabs prep software is very good for preparation purposes, although, I think their tests are somewhat more complicated than the ones you get at the real exam.

Does anyone know what version of Eclipse does WSAD 5.1.2 runs on?
Is it 2.1, 2.2, or 2.3?
Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if it would be legal to post questions from sample 288 test here. I am taking a real test on Saturday, and was wondering if people could help me straighten a few questions I don't understand on the sample one.
Thank you,

Hi All,
I passed 287 on March 21 with 83% and 484 on March 27 with 80%.
484 was more difficult I think, lots of tricky questions on EJBs, J2EE, one on JAAS, one on JAXP. I found EJBPlus software (www.enthuware.com) very helpful to brush up on EJBs which were probably at least 50% of the test.
I passed Sun's 310-035 with 93% in February. Used JQPlus software from www.enthuware.com which was also very helpful to get ready for the test.
I have passed 486 a while ago (November 2002) with 76 or 77% I think (can't remember the percentage number for sure, but I remember I passed it).
Does this mean I have IBM Enterprise Developer Certification now or my 486 has expired and I have to take it again?
Thank you.
