Hi,

I think you can remove the exit command by using the Nokia FullCanvas

Hi,

did you check that your images files are in the jar file ?

On some device, the png files must be indexed to be properly displayed, if not it will appear in black even if it is displayed correctly on the emulator.

Hi,

I didn't use MathFP but the kind of error specified is certainly due to the fact that you didn't "preverify" MathFP when the mathfp.jar file was created.
It can solve your problem if you recreate the jar file with the preverify command.

did you try to free more memory before the read function by calling

Hi,
if you have Symbian OS on your NOKIA (3650, N-GAGE, 6600, ...), just install FEXPLORER from http://users.skynet.be/domi/fexplorer.htm

Hi,
there is a free http symbian OS server that you can rewrite to fit your needs : http://sourceforge.net/projects/epochttp/
I test it on my n-gage, it is very interesting for many apps ideas.
The idea is to request the localhost http://127.0.0.1/hello.html with J2ME to get data from C++.

Hello,
I think your midlet use a protocol that's not supported by the device.
on which emulator did you try it ?
The Nokia 7650 is MIDP 1, so you should test your midlet with the proper emulator like Nokia 7210 MIDP SDK.

Hi,
what was the message ?
NullPointerException or IOException ?
Kate,
you should use AlertType.INFO instead of AlertType.CONFIRMATION

Hi Kate,
I think 50 milliseconds is too short for the alert screen.
If you don't specify setTimeout, the next screen should appear few seconds after the Alert.

Hi Greg,
I refer to the emulator provided by the SDK. I test some sample code "capture://video" and it works fine on the emulator. Even the supports.video.capture property returns true. So I am not sure but I think the device support it.

Hi,
the V500 emulator support image capture, I guess the device won't be different ?

Hello,
you can also use the Motorola SDK V500 emulator for image capture at motocoder.com
