Hi Bennett,

i am thinking to apply for an australian visa.I am a Java/J2ee 8+ years exp guy.
i have not started the process,now in a dilemma after reading your post.
Is the market in Australia so bad ??One of my acquaintances traveled to australia this year in March and got
the job within 2 months and now settled.he was a Java resource only.
please reply back with your views.
Could be the place where you are,has less jobs ? i dont know.

if any one's wife is not working and he ahs the intention of saving more money,then coming to US is by far a mistake for them.i have seen my friends whose wife are not working always seem to crib about their financial situation.only come to US if your wife is working ,if she is on H1 or L2 visa.market is going down drastically so it would be better to stay away from this shore for sometime at least.

yes piling on certifications is of no use until practically implemented.those things.dont worry about EJBs they are slowly going out of market thats what i have observed.people these days are asking more of adobe flex.it is very hot in the market .try to learn it at well as try to gain some experience over it.Spring,HIbernate also are very good to have under your belt.struts is an evergreen player.and if you have web services then it is very very good

No you can keep only one visa at a time .i have gone through whole episode again and agian who might be knowing better .ha ha.if you have the petition of L1 no probs you can go for H1.but if you stamped the you will have to make your L1 inactive the you can go for H1.

i already have H1 from some US based company.if i go for L1 from my current company then i stand any chance of getting my H1 cancelled for the cuase.or i can hold both simultaneously.

please dont go for Portal course.its presence is very marginal .
i have move to EP from J2EE now moving back to J2ee.
its just like goin to hell and back .EP dont have any significance.
if you are investing so much money its no point .
you will cry definitely after this course .

i think it a just a 2 weeks exam
after having 4 years of experience i feel just like it'
i am goin to appear next weeke end with no usual surity
of passing .just taking a big gamble
i took same gamble in SCWCD and came out with flying colours
