you can go with the JSP/servlet solution to call JDBC queries of your client and give him the output. But that means that you have to install JServ or Allaire JRun (i dont recommend this because it had been a big pain in the ass)....
or you can go the old-fashion way and write a cgi script (in Perl or shell script - whatever) that calls your Java application and pipes its output to your client... (that's a fast way of doing things - but it is not the recommended way for the long run). Of course your Java Output would be plain HTML....
