Did any one use Mediator View Pattern?

Kay
I took it and the instructor was excellent. As such the content was very good as it was dealt be a practicing engineer.

Based on our comments my colleague took it and he dropped out of it and asked for a refund.

I personally feel that it is a good course.

This looks like his answer to the assignment. Why not go with Cade's book?

Kay
I don't think it is against the policy of the forum. Some time back Ajith replied to this question.

Kay

Basically I appreciate that Sun can recognize the new type of solutions. I get many ideas from this forum. And my assignemnt is not matching with many of the things mentioned by experts. So don't afraid of taking new path.

Well said! I saw very thought provoking approaches in this forum.

Kay
Did anybody ask other forum members to review their assignments?

Kay
That is basically extending Cade's logic! Aren't we going to increase complexity in Business Delegate! Going by Alur's book ("You want to access the business-tier components from your presentation-tier components and clients, such as devices, web services, and rich clients.") it may be appropriate approach.

Kay
Did anybody see or use Front controller and Business delegate in sequence? Just curious. Any reply is appreciated.

I saw some interesting reply on this topic at:

Did anybodu use Protocol Router in their design?
Most of the people in the industry have some feel for the certifications! It is always nice to have in the job market.

Kay
I agree with Renee.

To keep the flow clean Cade/Roberts approach appear to be better.

The diagram referred here is little cluttered for a class diagram (Personal opinion). It can always be argued that without showing patterns what is architecture!

"I had 1-2 pages worth of assumptions, very breif and up to the point."

In addition to the above how much writeup did you have?

Kay
Look at this paper! It is a very interesting paper.

I just want to know how many classes are there in your solutions (Approx). I know the numbers can vary but interested in knowing some some ball park figures!
