I read on sun site somewhere that 90% of java market is of web components. If that is true, I think doing SCWCD will be better than SCJD. Because as far as I know SCJD doesnot cover anything about web components.

I am SCJP and want to prepare for next java certifications.I will prepare for both SCJD and SCWCD but Sun certifications are very expensive. So i will have to select b/w SCJD and SCWCD, which one to take.

After doing scjp, can i skip scjd and directly start studying scjea? What may be the disadvantages of doing that?

I can do it in Visual C++, to do it in java, will I have to use JNI. I haven't used it yet so if it can solve my problem, give me some links and also a brief introduction of it.

I am using Jbuilder but facing too much problems in using its debugger. I have put a breakpoint in the actionevent of a button, when I run the program in debug mode and click the button whose action event has a breakpoint, Jbuilder don't stop at the breakpoint and executes the whole event.
There seems to be no link between the application and the debugger. I tried the same thing in Forte it works there but Forte is a very heavy software so I can't use it.
If anybody knows how it can be done in JBuilder or it is possible or not, please reply me as soon as possible.

You have not understood my question. What I want is that when the files made by my application are double clicked they are open in my application as it happens with other windows applications like when we click a file with .doc extension it opened in MS WORD.

I have heard that SCJP exam can also be given from oracle track which is less expensive. Sun recognises SCJP from oracle track and issues their certificates to them also.
If anyone knows the details, please inform me.
