Shashank,

I am planning on taking the PMP exam. I see that you are already certified. Can you guide me on the pre reqs and a forum where there is PMP discussion.

Thanks a lot!
Fais(SCEA)

Thanks to everybody on this forum who directly and indirectly contributed. You guys/gals are a great bunch!
You are right it should be remote ex, EJBException is thrown in case of local clients and remote exception for remote clients

just my two cents...
nick,

can u tell me about the 50% discount offer?

thanks,
fais
Sudhakar,

You dont have to worry, as long as your concepts are clear you should have no problem clearing Part I

Best of luck!
Passed Part I last thursday, got 85%. I admit the exams tricky and harder than the some of the mocks and simulators I took.

Thanks Pinal, Joyce, Ian and everybody else on this forum who helped answer my questions. Also a big thanks to the Java ranch guys for having this forum.

On to Part II...
Pinal,

Congrats!. Wow you had 25 mins extra. What was ur strategy. Also, did the exam require you to memorize any EJB classes/interfaces syntax?

Also, were the wordings on the questions tricky? sometimes the same thing can mean two different things and can be argued either way...I have noticed that problem in whizlabs mock exams...

let me know your experience.

Thanks and best of luck,
Fais

hi Joyce

i am planning on giving part I soon. do we have enuf time to complete part one
since i have heard there are a lot of long comprehensive questions to read which takes up a lot of time. whats the strategy in that case. Are there quick straightforward questions too?

thanks in advance for the guidance
I went thru the java queries mocks. Are the whizlabs same or similar?

thanks,
