Hi Murali,
Did u take this test (ibm 256)? Can u please give me some inputs on resources and other stuff for 256?

Thanks,
Jitender.
Can someone please answer me the questions related to ibm256.

1. Does 256 requires 255 test?

2. Is the PDF on RAD sufficient to pass test?

3. Are there a set of mock exams on this certification?

4. How much time does it take ideally to a mid range developer?

Thanks in advance,
Jitender.
Thanks a ton.

Jitender.
Hi all,
Please post some website links to prepare for IBM 255/256 exams.

Are there any books available on the web (soft copies only ) for preperation?

What is the average time required for preperation for these tests?
ufffff...I tried it..

public class ConstructorDemo{

public ConstructorDemo(){
this(1);
System.out.println("no args");
}

public ConstructorDemo(int a){

this();
System.out.println("one arg");
}

public static void main(String []a)
{
new ConstructorDemo();
}

}

Got the same error though...did not compile at all.
I could not find this statement in K&B book and so, I thought I would point out. Sorry, if I overlooked into the book.
Hi,
Is inheritence of a class confined only to the non-static members functions of a class or static functions too?
Hi,
I was looking into the second chapter in K&B book and found something which seems to be practically not happening.

The book says:
Constructor can have this() and in case if none of the overloaded constructors in the class have a super() the stack explodes.

Below is a sample example:
public class ConstructorDemo{

public ConstructorDemo(){
this();
System.out.println("Hai");

}

public static void main(String []args){

new ConstructorDemo();
}

}
It doesnt compile at all. I get an error saying recursive constructor invocation.

Is this a possible error in the book Bert?
Please post the JSP code fragment and Struts-config.xml fragment that you have used.

You are right,
Perhaps you are not getting the previous search page thru bookmark as your URL does not contain the input parameters that you have used.

Parameters will be added to the URL if you use HTTP GET method.
Try using it and I am sure you will see what you need.

Hi, I am trying to access a class inside an external EAR.. the path is like,
XYZ.ear/myjar.jar/MyClass.class. I tried setting up the build path in WSAD but, am encountering an error as the mentioned package in the import statement not found. What is wrong with this?

Cant I access a class inside an external EAR file from other application, if not, how can I attempt my scenario...

Thanks in Advance!
