Hi Ashish

Tried it and same issue. Faces the same with other PDF links as well. Looks like something to do with my network. Will try in a different network tonight.

Thanks for writing a book on Portals. It was badly needed.

Hi Shruti
You can use the "preRender" attibute of "scriptcollector" to do this if u r on Webshere environment.

JSP Sample code:
<%@taglib uri="http://www.ibm.com/jsf/html_extended" prefix="hx"%>
.....
<f:view>
<hx:scriptCollector id="scriptCollector1" preRender="#{pc_MyManagedBean.onPageLoadBegin}">
.....
</f:view>

The method onPageLoadBegin() should be written on the managed bean

Dear Mike
If your Logic is fitting in this case tehn, why do the same thing is not happening for Long.MAX_VALUE
Hi
Its simple, can't invoke a inner class constructor unless its not defined. For every class you define a .class file is created by the Java compiler. So when you call the constructor of 'first' class the corresponding can't be found. Its like using a undefined variable.
Dear Piya
I am sorry that I presumed that you knew the thing. After making the 'SunEd' directory put both the 'testClassA.class' and 'testClassB.class' files into 'SunEd'. Now make sure you are currently at the parent directory of 'SunEd'. Now at the Command prompt type 'java SunEd.classB'
Dear Piya
Rimzim is absolutely correct. Please create a folder having the same name as the package name. Also make sure that you are working in Command Prompt as most editors of Java do not support packages. If you are using the import keyword then make sure that the package must a sub directory of the directory in which your current file is residing.
thanks & regards

how to convert binary to decimal number?
how to convert the format of date?
Dear kaps
The same thing is implemented before as the code given by Arnab clearly shows so. The bottomline is it is not working. Please post your replies after looking the query carefully.

Dear arnab
The program is working fine in Command Prompt. Avoid using any Editor which may parse for the main thread first.
The possible explanation of using the 'this' is to avoid accession of a non-static variable 'bool' from a static context of a the class 'Test' as we are not explicitly calling any object of the class 'Test'. So the keyword 'this' is serving as a dummy here.
Thanks
