Dear Friends
Enough of this acrimony over H1B /Job Scenario in US.
We have to be very clear that every country / industry takes action according to what is suitable and cost effective for it during that time .No body is interested indoing social service by providing jobs to others .Everybody is interested in seeing how best they can make use of the others .This is the hard core way business is being done whether we like it or not .There was a time during the Y2K Crisis , a massive demand of Software Professionals and since the same could be met in a very cost effective manner from countries like India etc there was a lot of demand for Software Professionals from India but not after the Y2K Crisis is over and also after the dot-com bubble burst the I.T Job scenario has highly shrunk and definitely the Compaines in US would like to hire only the US citizens .So this is a very hard time for H1B professionals and they have to realize that the market scenario is very much changed and that they cannot expect to be treated in the same way as during the boom period .How much ever you may throw your anger in these forums ,it is not going to give you any jobs .Accept the reality and see alternative ways to secure yourself a Job .
Wishing you all the best in getting good jobs.

Dear Friends
I agree with Faisal that this recession is a harsh lesson for those who thought that they can make "quick" money during the I.T
boom .Making money is not bad but the means that were employed is
what that is being questioned .They are the people who are hit bady during this recession and they have no other options but to suffer .For those who kept as the mission of their organiztion as "Technical Excellence" they are not facing a very bad scenario .Just the fly by night technology companies , boddy shoppers , job consultants etc who thought that just by playing the role of middle men sitting in their house and making money are those who are severely hit and they desrved to be hit .
This harsh period will force companies and individuals to give prominence to building "Technology Competence & Excellnce " in their organization .Today just some Tom , Dick and Harry can't just hope to get a job with some tit bit knowledge of C,C++ and Java .They should be competent enough to offer practical real world solutions to the I.T Industry .Only such people will survive .Other people will keep only grumbling and wasting their time finding fault with others and there is little hope for them .So in conclusion there is no point in blaming others .Just try to prove your merit by fulfilling the demands of today's I.T industry .

Dear Friend
No doubt you have few months of Java Experience but today the Java Job Market is very bad for people with less than 3 years experience in Java .Today's Java market is good for people who have good experience in implementing J2EE Technology .Unless you have skills and knowledge in J2EE Technology ,there is very little chance that you will get some Java Job .Instead of wasting more time in seeking Java Jobs with your experience make your self more marketable by becoming a Sun Certified Enterprise Java Achitect .This certification will not compenstate for your lack of work experience in J2EE area but it will atleat give you the sound knowledge about J2EE Technology and set you apart from other job seekers .SCEA Certification is a proof that you have the neceessary "knowledge" about the J2EE Technology .Keep a 4 - 6 month time frame and try to pass the SCEA Exam .This is the immediate best solution .But if you continue to keep seeking jobs without valid proof of Knowledge and Experience in J2EE you will only meet with disappointment as you have already seen now .
Do not loose hope .Study Hard amd make yourself Technically Competent .
Wishing you all the best .

Dear Friend
The persons who are facing the heat in the Job scenario are the entry level Programmers and people with 1-2 year experience but those who are able to retain their position are those who are the Software Architects .So those people with 4+ years experience in the respective technology area have no problems in getting better jobs .

Dear Friend
