Hi Erik,

Even I am using DAOs (with BMP) in most places, except in one place where I am using CMP (where update to database is done). I think for reading data (e.g. searching flights), DAO+BMP does a good job, without the overhead of expensive CMP. Having said that, with CMP 2.0, they say it has changed, i.e. CMPs give better performance.

Also, when you use DAO, I think we should make sure BMPs are used with the DAO, so that migrating to CMP later on is easier.

As for me, I have mentioned some points about non-func requirements in my assignment. I have not submitted assignment yet. but i guess it's ok to mention some of these points like security, performance etc.

I have mailed SunCert@prometric.com 2 times in the last 15 days, but they have not replied. How do I know if I have permissions? I want to upload in a week's time, but i want to be sure i have permission beforehand.

Congrats!! And thanks for the tips. I am currently preparing the assignment (almost done). I will definetely keep them in mind before submitting.

How many component diagrams you had? I have 3 components for 3 modules to make the components clearer, and I have also divided them in tiers. Do you think that's Ok?

Did you include any package diagram in your assignment?

And for getting permissions from Sun before submitting, I sent a mail to SunCert@prometric.com but have not received any reply from them. How do I know if I have permissions?

I have a similar problem. I have included all images in one html file, but these images don't look good (they become small and hazy), and also the button to expand images doesnt appear if you include images like this. Of course, images can be seen by the examiner separately from the 'diagrams' folder, but how to make the images look good in the same html file?

I also tried making images' width and height as 100% - by this the image size increases but still the image is hazy.

Any help would be good..

Cade has shown 3 component diagrams in his book. So, is showing more than one component diagram in the assignment OK?

I think persistence of paid itineraries will be required, how else will you go about storing details of the itinerary, which you will obviously need later on (at least till the passenger has flown to his destination).
