I posted this topic on the Beginner's forum, and was advised to try here because it relates to applets.
I have the source java code for a rubik's cube java applet. I want to be able to save the game at any point. I've been told that I need to run the code as a java application so that I can save to my hard disk.
I have general programming knowledge of C, VB, a little C++, and object-orientatiion - but very little java. If someone can give me a few specific instructions, I might be able to convert the code myself. This is a one-off java job. Right now, I don't have any need to learn java other than to convert this applet to a java application.

Alan
