Congrats to the Winners!!!
For easier understanding you may consider them as filters.

The flow from one handler to another in the handler chain depends on what the handleRequest and handleResponse methods are returning, in addition to whether or not faults are generated.

Indepth knowledge of EJB is not required for the exam.

However, familiarity with creating EJB Endpoints, the deployment structure of an enterprise application consisting of an EJB Endpoint and the usage of transaction and security attributes in an ejb-jar file etc.. are required for the exam.

The simulator does not contain a seperate tutorial on Web Services. However the Revision Notes and Detailed Explanation of Answers which are part of the Simulator, can act as a good tutorial related to the exam objectives.

Secondly does it contain DnD questions?

Yes, the simulator contains DND questions.

In my opinion SCDJWS and ICED(IBM Certified Enterprise Developer) are two different things. To gain sound knowledge of Web Services, SCDJWS is the way to go.

Hi,

The time it takes to prepare for the exam varies from person to person, based on their familiarity with Web Services.

Having prior experience is always a plus, however it is possible to clear this exam with proper study of all the exam objectives. One should try to avoid attempting the exam if he is not confident with all the exam objectives.

Here are the exam objectives:
XML Web Service Standards
SOAP 1.1 Web Service Standards
Describing and Publishing (WSDL and UDDI)
JAX-RPC
SOAP and XML Processing APIs (JAXP, JAXB, and SAAJ)
JAXR
J2EE Web Services
Security
Developing Web Services
General Design and Architecture
Endpoint Design and Architecture
