When I try to compile my client program throught ant I get the following error

cannot find Symbol CDCatalogImplService

I am able to compile the server files, deploy them and read the wsdl file.

Here is my client code

--------
package cdcdatalogservice.client;

import java.rmi.RemoteException;
import cdcatalogservice.server.CDCatalogImplService;
import cdcatalogservice.server.CDCatalogImpl;

public class CDCatalogClient {
public static void main(String[] args) {
try {
CDCatalogImplService service = new CDCatalogImplService();
CDCatalogImpl port = service.getCDCatalogImplPort();
CD cd = port.getCD();
} catch (Exception ex) {
ex.printStackTrace();
}
}

}

Hi Henry,

I noted your point. But I thought to solve this problem regular expressions are enough.. Thanks for the solution

Hi Henry & Alan,

Thanks for your reply. The solution given by Henry is working fine.. But I have another problem. Suppose if I have a double quotes within another double quotes it is not parsing properly.

Say for example I have
1,3,6,"1,\"243", "1,097,937", 89

the array should be like this
1
3
6
1,"243
1,097,937
89

Can anyone help me?

Thanks in Advance.

Can any one give me the regular expression to use in split function.. or is there any other way out there

Thanks

Susanta,

Thanks for your reply. I read the API for ResourceBundle Class. My question why cant we fetch the resouce directly from DB without using the ResourceBundle class. You can write the same algorithm used by resoucrebundle to find the resource instead of creating the classes.. Clarify me if I am wrong.

Thanks.

Can anyone tell me what is backport 175 annotation and explain the use of it?

Thanks
I read the link sent by Ulf.

why do we have to create one class for each locale if we are going to store the resources in database. you pass the country, language and/or variant to the database and get the info.. If the resource not available for the country, lanaguage and/orvariant, search for it with country alone.. Why can't we write code to do this?? Can somebody explain me why we need separate classes?

I got the part how to instantiate a class with a class name which is known only at run time. But the problem is I dont know how the class is implemented. but the class will be a subclass of the class loading it.. I want that class to be loaded only once may be in a separate thread.. If I use singleton the class has to implement getInstance and make the constructor as private. I may be wrong about singleton. Any Ideas.?? Here is my code.

public Class1(String cClassName)
{
Object objClass;
try
{
objClass = Class.forName(cClassName).newInstance();
}
catch (Exception exp)
{
exp.printStackTrace();
}

}

I want to load only one instance of a class in a separate thread. The class name will be known during runtime. The class will be a subclass of the class which loads it. Can anyone tell me how to implement this?
