Hi,
I am using Weblogic 6.1 sp4, and am trying to connect to the database using Oracle thin driver. I have seen in quite a few forums that if I remove the server name from the end the connection works. But I cannot.Maybe I am doing something wrong. Could anyone help me out.This is the line in my config.xml

<RDBMSRealm DatabaseDriver="oracle.jdbc.driver.OracleDriver"
DatabaseURL="jdbc racle:thin: @ host: port : oracle8" Name="CitiSafeRealm"
RealmClassName="com.c.pbg.a.aRealm" SchemaProperties="user=user;password=password;
weblogic.t3.waitForConnection=true;
weblogic.t3.waitSecondsForConnection=999999999999,
weblogic.jts.waitSecondsForConnectionSecs=999999999999,
verbose=false;
delegatePoolSize=5"/>

The only thing I havent tried is protocol=thin attribute
The thing is if I try connecting the DB using JSP, the code works fine and
gets me the records, but when I mention the connection settings using the config.xml I get a error oracle.net.TNSAddress.SOException at server startup time.I have the classes12.zip in the classpath too.
Thanks
