Hello Folks,

Our organization recently acquired a web application that uses Ping Federate to implement Single Sign On.

Since Ping Federate is licensed, we are looking for less expensive alternatives.

Here are a couple of related questions

Has anyone used CAS to implement Single Sign On ?

Can it provide Single Sign On across multiple networks ?

Is it as secure as Ping Federate ?

Any information would be really appreciated.

Thanks,
Kunal

Hello All,

I am running a jython script from my java program and I would like to access the resulting value/object. The script returns a boolean value true/false, and I want to access the value as a java.lang.Class.Boolean object. Can someone guide me in the right direction?

Thanks in advance.

Never mind. I resolved this issue. I have a spring.schemas file in the META-INF folder within the spring.jar
That file has an entry

I changed my application context file from

to

since the spring.schemas file has a mapping for spring-beans.xsd and not for spring-beans.xsd.

It seems to work fine now.

Hello All,

I am fairly new to Spring and hence this question. When I deploy the existing spring applcation to a tomcat web server, I get the following exception:

The following is a snippet from the applicationContext.xml.

Can someone please point me in the right direction to resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the response Ivan.

I changed the locationuri to /RPMService/
Made it a relative path.

I am now able to access the wsdl and that does contain the location.

Thanks for your help again!

Hello Folks,

I am relatively new to Spring WebServices and would like to know what url to use to invoke my webservice. The wsdl is auto generated and I have attached my spring-ws-servlet.xml file below. Any help will be highly appreciated.

Thanks,
Kunal

David, I have fixed the issue. There was a duplicate struts.xml file in my workspace. Thanks for your help!

Oops, I meant the word quote in the struts.xml is not a typo
The symbol ' in the package name is a typo. Sorry, I did not read your post carefully.
David, Actually the quote is not a typo. I have tried changing the package name to something else and that has not worked too.
David, sorry about the confusion. The latest version of the struts.xml file does have the package name in it.

Yes David. I am sure it is not being deployed twice. However, I must tell you that parts of this project use struts 1 while some parts use struts 2
Do you think this may have to do with having some unnecessary jar files in the build path?

Hello,

We are in the process of enhancing an existing struts 1 application with new functionality that uses struts 2.
We are seeing the following errors. Can someone help?

Thanks,
Kunal

Hello All,

We currently have a web application that has been developed in Struts 1. As a part of a new phase, new screens are being developed using Struts 2.

Our jsp layout consists of a menu, header and footer, that has been developed in Struts 1.

When we try to include a Struts 2 jsp in the body section of the layout, the application is failing to execute because the Tiles framework does not allow different versions in one frame.

What can be a possible solution to the above issue?

One possibility is
a) Create a new layout for the new pages in Struts 2

Is there any other solution anyone can provide?

Thanks in advance.

Hello All,

There is a new requirement in our organization to change an existing web application such that it displays a paper application on the screen.

This form needs to be filled up by the user. Any suggestions on what open source technologies can be used?

Thanks,
Kunal
