Hello...

I'd like to know if you know how do I get the size of a Web request? I mean, I need to know the size of a Web Request 'cause I'll fill a Gauge Object up based on the quantity that I have received from the WebService.
I'm using the KSOAP and KXML API's for consuming that WebServices and I used the Content-lengh Method and it didnt return anything to me... it returned empty. So, do you know how do I fill a Gauge Object based on the size of the WebRequest? Could you tell me some examples plz?

Thanx...

Hi there!

I'd like to know a way to enumerate the size of a file that's being downloaded in the device and mainly how much has ever dowloaded or how much it needs to do...
I need to set a gauge for a download process but it needs to be true, it needs to show to the end user how much it really lacks to download the complete file.

Best regards

You can use this property to make some restrictions and to combine all restrictions between them. Try to find something in J2ME website at www.java.sun.com , over there, you're gonna find many articles and short courses about the J2ME Technology.

Best wishes and good luck

Hello people,

I'm studying how a J2ME application can consume a WebService and what kind API's I utilize to do this. So, I only found the API's KWSDL and KXML to work with WebServices and J2ME and I wanna know if you could tell if exist another API's... Is there any other API for webservices in J2ME technology?

Thanx.
