You don't have to know much of core java to do ejb or take the test. But you need core java knowledge to actually work with ejb..

yes you are right. ejb2.0, j2ee1.3, j2se1.3 etc.

I read the book in one month, didn't read the spec or blueprints, and scored 87%. Fairly ok I guess.

I guess this also means that you shouldn't really expect much from someone with this kind of java certification..

Sounds good, but why do they have an expiration date at all then?
