Some people who have farmned their land sustainably and in a permaculture‑like manner were worried their land would be taken over by urban sprawl or industrialised farming when they die. The idea behind the SKIP project is to raise money to train a new generation of farmers who will continue maintaining the land as its current owners would like them to. Some people are willing to leave land as a legacy to young people who are trained to maintain their tradition. More about SKIP
